Refund Policies for Trainings & Attendance
Planning clinical trainings requires a lot of preparation, including paperwork for continuing education hours, improving presentations, and reserving time from my clinical services. I have a limited number of spots available; once you register, your spot is reserved for you. If there aren’t enough attendees, the training may be canceled, which could cause issues for others who set aside time to attend.
If a registrant cancels more than 10 days before the event, they will be given credit to attend the same event within the 12-months after the original training they registered for. The Blueprint training is offered several times throughout the year.
If a registrant cancels within 10 days of the event, I am unable to provide a refund or credit.
Please email me at erin@DBTCenterofMedia.com with any questions regarding attendance to a training.
In order to receive all designated continuing education credits for any training, participants must be present for the entirety of the training. Partial attendance is not granted for missed time or training days.
Training Complaints Procedure & Policy
The DBT Center of Media strives to provide exceptional clinical trainings in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Part of this objective is to provide fair treatment to all registrants and attendees. If you are dissatisfied with your experience with one of the clinical trainings for any reason, you can submit your grievance in writing via email to me at erin@DBTCenterofMedia.com within 30 days of attending a training. I will review your submitted grievance and respond to you in a timely manner (within 30 days) of receiving your grievance. While I cannot guarantee a specific outcome, I can work with you to the best of my ability to reach an agreeable solution.
All received grievances and resolutions are maintained on file by the DBT Center of Media.
Confidentiality of Participant Information Policy
The DBT Center of Media will take steps to protect the private information of training participants, including names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, and payment details. If there is a breach of confidentiality, I will inform those affected using the contact information given during registration. Records of attendance, training completion, evaluations, and surveys will be kept safely for up to 5 years after a participant finishes their training.
